Perfect workshop!
As the head of music/performing arts at the Hayesbrook School in Tonbridge Kent, I can safely say that Mandinka Roots performed the best African drumming workshop I have seen. Oumar is extremely friendly, very engaging for the students and has a perfectly set up session where by the end all students have learnt to play a djembe drumming song from entering the session with nothing. Excellent Experience - Highly Recomended
We booked Mandinka Roots for three days in the last week before Christmas 2015 to provide an insight into African history for our year 1 to 5 (Secondary). Oumar was an excellent host and the children really gained valuable knowledge, especially from the traditional story telling and group drumming activities.
